Hope Haven nurtures kids and strengthens families through summer camps for low-income children, respite care for families that have children with special needs, and through our children’s home for kids who need long term love and care. Hope Haven is a nonprofit organization dedicated to showing God’s love to every child and family that comes on our campus. Camp Hope Haven
Camp Hope Haven is a non-denominational Christian camp that strives to meet children’s spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. Campers participate in a variety of fun activities such as pony rides, swimming, arts and crafts, and Bible and nature classes, while enjoying the fresh air on our fifty-four acre campus in Virginia Beach. Camp is available for boys and girls ages 8-12 and teens ages 13-15. It is a week long summer camp. Follow this link to look at camp dates and register a child for the summer.
Recharge Respite
Recharge Respite is a weekend day camp where children and teens with special needs along with their siblings for a day at camp. We fill the time with games, crafts, toys, an inflatable slide, farm animals, sensory activities, and Bible stories. Each special needs child is paired with a buddy for the day to ensure that they will receive specific attention and have a fun filled day. For more information, follow the button link below.
